I thought this looked like a wonderful recipe and wanted to share
The heat of ginger is just divine and the combination with orange just puts a massive smile on my face! Absolutely delicious dunked in a cup of tea, softening these crunchy biscuits.
They can be made super quickly, giving you and your family a perfect snack to snuggle up on the sofa with as quick as a flash! They’re a lovely golden colour, begging you to dive into them and gobble them all up!
- 120g Plain Flour
- 1.25 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
- 45g Granulated Sugar
- 50g Butter (unsalted)
- 2tsp Orange Peel
- 60g Golden Syrup
- Line 2 baking trays with baking parchment so that your biscuits don’t burn to the tray and stick! Preheat the oven to 190 degrees (Fan oven).
- Mix all of the dry ingredients (Flour, Ginger, Bicarb and Sugar) into a bowl so that they’re evenly distributed.
